Ronnie grew up in the business and began working on the block selling crayon drawings as a toddler to his father's co-workers in the Diamond District. Eventually he worked after school and during school breaks as a runner, bench jeweler, and polisher for various manufacturers in the 1980's, and joined his mother, Agnes- the founder (and namesake) of A and C Gem, as a teenager, shortly after the death of his father, Joe (the first generation in the colored stone business!)
Heather originally started her career in Washington, DC as a sound man/junior producer with Canadian Television News network's Washington Bureau. She made the move to gems in the early 90's after marrying Ron, and joining him as a trusted partner who brings an entirely different background and mindset to A and C Gem Trading Corp. Heather is a true color addict, with an eye for unusual color pairings, and a true desire to have a first class operation based on the best possible business practices for all involved- clients, employees, and suppliers!
She has been a treasured team member for 10 years! Originally from Honduras, Millie brings her "A" game each and every day! A talented crafter, dedicated mom, and delightful lady - Millie brings her sweet smile and cheerful demeanor to everyone who comes to our showroom!
A 20 year treasured team member, Cho Cho is the rock who everyone counts on for her unparalleled skills at painstakingly creating stunning layouts for our displays. Originally a seamstress from Burma- her incredible penmanship is the secret sauce for all of the labels on our gemstone displays, and constantly inspires admiration from all who see her microscopic handwriting!
Originally from Ukraine - Natasha is another treasured team member, and a veteran of 47th Street- she has more than 30 years of experience exclusively with colored stones and jewelry design, and brings her discerning eye to every thing that she touches!
